  • Ask the Lord to strengthen our faith as we embrace MORE.

    “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” - Hebrews 11:6

  • Pray for generous provision as God moves on our hearts to give to MORE.

    “And God will generously provide all you need.

    Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” - 2 Corinthians 9:8

  • Pray for endurance and strength to realize all God has for Evangel Temple now and in the future.

    “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

  • Intercede for the transformation of many lives in our area as a result of our faith.

    “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

  • Pray that Evangel Temple will have a greater vision of who God is and the plans He has for us.

    “Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.” - Ephesians 3:17 - 18

  • Ask the Lord for an increase in visionary workers to bring in the harvest through MORE.

    “These were his instructions to them: ‘The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.’” - Luke 10:2

  • Ask God to give encouragement, wisdom, and creativity to the leaders of Evangel Temple

    “Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and follow the example of their faith.” - Hebrews 13:7

  • Pray for healing of those you know and those in our church body and our community.

    “Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.” - Psalm 103:2- 3

  • Ask the Lord for a responsive and willing heart and the obedience to give generously to MORE.

    “I know, my God, that you examine our hearts and rejoice when you find integrity there. You know I have done all this with good motives, and I have watched your people offer their gifts willingly and joyously.” - 1 Chronicles 29:17

  • Petition the Lord for favor on all of Evangel Temple’s endeavors to bring the Good News to our area.

    “For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.” - 2 Corinthians 6:2

  • Come before the Lord in thankfulness for answered prayer and for guiding our congregation through MORE.

    “Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:16 - 18

MORE FAQs

  • By renovating our existing facility in a great location, we’re practicing good stewardship to care for the resources God has given us. The renovation will optimize our space to accommodate more people and renew the appearance and functionality of the building inside and outside.

  • Every person who attends ET will enjoy the result of this project. Young families and volunteers will have easy access to the brand new kids ministry space. More parking, bigger lobbies, new restrooms, and re-designed multi-purpose meeting rooms will enhance the experience of every attender. The conversion of the gym into a worship space will benefit the hundreds of people in our community who don’t yet know Jesus, but will meet Him in that space.

  • We plan to start mid-2025 and hope to finish by mid-2026.

  • By giving the contractors access to the whole project space at once, we can save significant time and money. That means, for about 9 months, we will have access to only the auditorium, gym and restrooms. We will prioritize space for Sunday services, kids ministry and youth ministry and will empower other groups to meet in alternate locations.
